GAMES
All games will be played on Saturday mornings at Cypress Park. Players are divided up into teams on small sided fields. There is no goal keeper. Each field has a professional SSC coach directing the players/game and one or two older volunteer helpers from the club. Each week players are moved around to different teams.
Why the Development Spring League Works:
The Springs Development League players will be broken up into groups/pools and be trained at different stations. Those stations all focus on a higher level of skills such as ball control, touches, passing, dribbling, and speed, agility and movement — all in a fun and age appropriate set up. Sessions will be offered at Cypress Park. Players remain engaged and focused on learning the skills and techniques under the disguise of the fun, creative, and developmentally appropriate activities. Players at this age will practice two days per week. Depending on which training days you choose, your practice session will either be a Monday/Wednesday from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm or Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
